THE STORY BEHIND SCRIBE

A passion for wood.
A purpose in every space.

Scribe began with a love of making things — and the realization that a thoughtful piece of woodwork can change how a whole room feels.

A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER

From a personal passion
to something worth sharing.

The creator of Scribe

I developed a passion for woodworking through the simple satisfaction of creating something with my own hands. What drew me in was more than the finished piece. It was the process: thinking through a space, working out the details, and watching an idea become something useful and beautiful.

Over time, that passion grew into a desire to create amazing spaces. A built-in can do so much more than hold things. It can give a room a purpose, make daily life easier, and turn an overlooked corner into a place you love.

I created Scribe to bring that care to other people’s homes. My focus is custom built-ins — offices, libraries, pantries, closets, garage cabinetry, and the spaces in between. Every project starts with the same question: how can we make this space work better for you?

Scribe is a new business rooted in that passion. I’m excited to build it through thoughtful work, honest conversations, and spaces that feel personal to the people who use them.

WHAT GUIDES THE WORK

Listen first.

Your routines, ideas, and priorities give the project its direction.

Make the space count.

The awkward corner, the empty wall, the room with potential — each deserves a considered solution.

Care about the details.

Proportion, layout, materials, and finish all contribute to something that feels right at home.
